I would like to share my view of who Sam Thomas is. I have known Sam and his family for over 20 years. Sam and I share a lot of the same beliefs including our love of God and pre-born children.
I lost my husband – my high school sweetheart – to colon cancer in 2016. My loss has taught me many things but most importantly that we aren’t guaranteed tomorrow. It has taught me to live every day to the fullest and if you feel called to do something then do it!!
I truly believe the breakdown we are seeing in our communities and nation is due to the lack of value we are placing on human life. If we don’t value a life before birth then how can we value it afterwards? Let’s teach our children to value one another because God created each of us in his image.
I like that Sam has not only been involved in the pro-life movement but in his local community also. There is more to being pro-life than just protecting life inside the womb; it also requires the education and support of our younger generation. Being the hands and feet of Jesus. Loving them where they are and building them up to be the best they can be. This is how you make changes.
I believe Sam Thomas is answering a call that God has laid upon his heart – a call to lead our county, and to leave it better than he found it for our children and future generations. Sam’s views on the right to life and liberty are needed in our society, and that is why he has my support.
